Crazy Flexible

Making a big impression at a crowded event.

  • Bear-lin

    Mirantis had long used a large brown bear as a sort of mascot, and as part of their branding. The event was to take place in Berlin, a city which also uses a bear as its mascot.

  • "Crazy Flexible"

    We wanted to emphasize that the Mirantis product offerings were “Crazy Flexible”, and to use that as a tagline and as a guide in creating the visuals for the booth and swag. I quickly Googled “yoga poses” and started brainstorming.

  • Build-a-bear

    We thought a more photorealistic bear would make a bigger impact here than an illustration, so I grabbed some stock photos of bears and started cutting out body parts. Posing the bear was super fun and got a lot of laughs at the office.

  • At the event

    The yoga bear backdrop was great for grabbing people’s attention and bringing them into the booth for a conversation. Quite a few attendees snapped photos of themselves doing the same yoga pose in front of the backdrop. We also handed out shirts and stickers so people could take the image home with them.
